This photo shoot at Rural Cemetery outside of Fayette NY, was one of the very first photo excursions Nancy and I ever went on. We just went out for the day with the intention of exploring the area and seeing what there was to see.
Nancy loves the way the light is striking the backsides of these cows. I love the rhythmic pattern that their bodies make against the treeline. Very solid.
I thought this was a fascinating contrast to the very rural quality of Nancy's images from earlier in the day. This was shot in the town of Waterloo as we drove along routes 5 & 20.
