Something to do about nothing

Just a quick self-portrait.. while I wait for morning to catch up to my early rising. Since surgery, most of my mornings start around 430am. I miss the sleeping in till 6 or 7 am. No amount of exercise or exhaustion seems to make any difference, so after six weeks, I figure I am just going to roll with it. Up early? Do something. Here's my something.

  1. those hours before dawn - before the rest of the world is risen - are like stolen time - very useful - enjoy. Your body knows how much sleep it needs - just trust it. (and listen to it)

  2. oh, the body wants more sleep... so does the brain. I am having the worst sort of sleep deprivation. Starting to have headaches that last all day. If I can kick this back pain, I will be happy to resume sleeping my normal allotment.
